An 11-year-old New York girl was brutally attacked while walking her puppy after school recently, her mother told News 12.
Surveillance video of the incident obtained by the outlet shows the 11-year-old holding her three-month-old puppy when she is approached by an individual who appears to shout in her face and punch her. A second individual approaches and then seemingly throws the girl to the ground.
A large group forms around the girl, and one person strikes her repeatedly, according to the footage. One of the individuals from the group appears to kick her puppy. The alleged attack ended when a woman stopped her car and intervened.

The girl suffered multiple injuries and was transported to Jacobi Hospital, News 12 reported. The child, who has epilepsy, also experienced a seizure during the alleged assault. (RELATED: Oklahoma Woman Loses All 4 Limbs Following Brutal Dog Attack)
The girl previously received threats from the same group of individuals, prompting her mother to approach the school district twice to request a transfer for her daughter’s safety, the mother told News 12. A transfer has been approved, but the child will not feel secure until charges against the group have been filed, her family said.
“She doesn’t want to go back [to school]. She’s panicking. She’s traumatized. She was crying all night,” the child’s mother explained.
A neighbor recounted the attack to News 12’s Natalie Hernandez, saying the girl was “defenseless.”
“She was like, defenseless, like, she was just laying there not even trying to defend herself,” a man, whose face was not shown on camera, told the outlet.
The New York Police Department (NYPD) received a complaint of an attack by three females against an 11-year-old girl, the NYPD told the Daily Caller. The girl was punched in her face, kicked in the head multiple times and struck with a rock, police said.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident and have not made any arrests.
