31-Year-Old Man Arrested for Attempted Murder After He Drives Up on Sidewalk in London’s Soho District – Injuring Four People

London driver arrested on attempted murder after he drives up on a sidewalk and hits four pedestrians.

A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after he drove up on a sidewalk in the Soho District and plowed over four pedestrians.

The man was driving his vehicle on the wrong side of the road in Shaftesbury Avenue, in Soho, early Wednesday morning.

SKY News says the suspect was reportedly in a fight at a nightclub before committing the crime.

Authorities believe it is not terror related.

According to the BBC, one pedestrian remains in a life-threatening condition, the police said.
