Former President Donald Trump is delivering remarks at an event in the battleground state of Michigan, 39 days before Election Day. He is expected to begin speaking at 2 p.m.
The event is the former president’s first of two in the Great Lakes State on Friday. Trump will participate in a town hall event at 6 p.m. in Warren, Michigan.

Michigan is one of the swing states that Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris hope to win en route to electoral victory on Nov. 5. In the RealClearPolitics polling average, Harris leads Trump 49.1%-47.3%, and the Cook Political Report has rated the state as a toss-up.
