Verdict: False

There is no evidence supporting the claim. Moreover, Clinton has not been executed.

Fact Check:

Clinton received the very first Leadership Award from the Westchester Parks Foundation this week, according to Lohud.com. Clinton was recognized for her work in environmental and children’s rights, the outlet reported.

The Facebook video purports to show a woman resembling Clinton lying on a lethal injection medical table. The video also includes a photo of Clinton with a list of her alleged crimes, including treason and seditious conspiracy, among others.

The claim is false. Check Your Fact conducted a reverse image search using a screenshot from the video and found the same image shared to X, the social media platform previously called Twitter, in April 2023. The post also claimed that Clinton was set to be executed. An iteration of the image posted to Twicopy appeared to make the same claim.

Clinton has not been recently executed, however. Back in April, Clinton appeared alongside House Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi at a speaking event at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. She was also honored at an event at the Lotos Club in Manhattan the same month, Fox News reported.

In addition, Clinton has attended other public events in the months since. The former Secretary of State and presidential candidate returned to the White House earlier this month to celebrate the 2023 Praemium Imperiale Laureate alongside current First Lady Jill Biden, according to CNN.

Likewise, Check Your Fact found no credible news reports suggesting Clinton had recently been executed. If the claim was actually true, multiple media outlets would’ve covered it, yet none have. Clinton also has not publicly commented on the claim. (RELATED: What Did Donald Trump Say About Hillary Clinton During The 2008 Democratic Primary?)

Check Your Fact has contacted Clinton’s Press Office for comment and will update this piece accordingly if one is received.
