Bill Clinton ‘Citizen’ book tour heads to DC: ‘Life after the White House and reflections on the world’ – Washington Examiner

Former President Bill Clinton is launching his new book, Citizen, with tour stops in several cities, including a one-night event in Washington, D.C., next month.

“My new memoir CITIZEN hits bookstores on November 19th. I’m heading out on the road that week for a series of conversations about the book, my life after the White House, and reflections on the world we live in today. Join me in New York City, DC, Philadelphia, Stamford and Little Rock,” Clinton wrote on his X account.

Starting on Nov. 19, the former president will be making stops in New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Stamford, Connecticut, and wrapping his book tour in Little Rock, Arkansas on Dec. 6.

Clinton will be at the DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C. on Nov. 21 for a one-night “President Bill Clinton Live: Beyond the Oval Office event.

“Join President Bill Clinton at DAR Constitution Hall on November 21st for an intimate conversation reflecting on his extraordinary life, the 2024 election, and his newest memoir CITIZEN,” the venue wrote on social media.

Interested event-goers can register to get early access for tickets during presale. On Friday, Oct. 18 at 10 a.m. Eastern, tickets will go publicly on sale. The ticket options will include a premium autographed book ticket and a regular book ticket.

Attendees who purchase a VIP Premium Meet and Greet Ticket will be required to complete a background check for the United States Secret Service in order to attend the meet and greet.

Clinton has been busy on the campaign trail stumping for Vice President Kamala Harris in the final weeks of the 2024 election. He was in Durham, North Carolina on Thursday for campaign rallies with Democratic vice presidential nominee Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN). On Wednesday, Clinton spoke at the memorial service for Ethel Kennedy, the wife of Sen. Robert F. Kennedy.

On Sunday, the former president stopped by a McDonald’s during a Harris campaign visit to Albany, Georgia and an employee confused him for President Joe Biden.
