Former President Donald Trump‘s campaign is making the most out of his major weekend in Pennsylvania, which saw social media explode over his brief shift working at a McDonald’s, receiving the endorsement of former WWE wrestlers, and watching the Steelers versus Jets game in Pittsburgh.
The former president’s visit to McDonald’s was a jab at Vice President Kamala Harris, who claimed she once worked at McDonald’s, which Trump has repeatedly argued is false. During his visit, Trump donned a McDonald’s apron to work the fry stand at the restaurant while also passing out orders to customers in the drive-thru window.
Trump’s campaign has since taken the viral footage of him working at McDonald’s and created a TikTok video, which has become one of his most viewed videos on the platform. As of Monday morning, the video has over 21 million views, almost double the number of followers he has on TikTok.
@realdonaldtrump I’ve offically worked longer at McDonalds than Kamala!
“I’m looking for a job, and I’ve always wanted to work at McDonald’s,” Trump says in the video. “I never did. I’m running against somebody that said she did, but it turned out to be a totally phony story, so.”
Following his visit, Trump’s campaign created a “MAGADonald’s” T-shirt featuring a photo of the former president waving his hand out the drive-thru window. The Republican Party is now selling the shirt on social media.
In addition to working at McDonald’s, Trump also attended Sunday night’s game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Jets. The former president’s campaign also released a TikTok video of him at the game, which shows the stadium chanting “U-S-A” and Trump shaking hands with former Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown.
@realdonaldtrump THANK YOU, PITTSBURGH!
Trump’s campaign released another video this past weekend featuring him alongside wrestling icons Kane and The Undertaker, the latter of whom informs viewers that “Electionmania” is coming up. The Undertaker then presents viewers with the choice of siding with himself, Trump, and Kane or Harris, Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN), and Dave Bautista, who endorsed Harris earlier this month.
“Choose wisely, the nation depends on it,” The Undertaker, whose real name is Mark William Calaway, says in the video.

Trump’s visit to Pennsylvania, the most sought-after state in the Electoral College, comes as Monday is the final day for Pennsylvania residents to register to vote for the 2024 elections. Polling data released Monday, conducted among 5,000 registered voters, found that Trump and Harris were in a dead heat at 47% among all respondents, while Harris had a 1% advantage among likely voters.
To boost voter turnout, billionaire and X owner Elon Musk, a Trump ally, announced Saturday that he will give one voter who signs his America PAC’s petition a million dollars every day through Election Day. The giveaway will be for Pennsylvania residents until Tuesday, when it will expand to Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, and Wisconsin residents.
