Verdict: Misleading
This video is from 2023, not 2024. It shows a Hezbollah man-portable air defense system (MANPAD) squad, per the original video description.
Fact Check:
Israel hit the city of Tyre in Lebanon, striking what it says was terror infrastructure, while Hezbollah fired rockets into northern Israel, according to the Times of Israel. Israel has also continued its ground operation into Lebanon, the outlet reported.
Social media users are claiming to show Hezbollah as Israeli troops continue to fight them in southern Lebanon. One user wrote,”This is the mood in 🇱🇧 Hezbollah…Pray for the IDF.”
This claim is misleading. Through a reverse image search, Check Your Fact found that the video was originally posted in May 2023, a year and half ago. It was posted by Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) senior research analyst Joe Truzman, who said it shows a MANPADS squad during training.

“Hezbollah MANPADS squad during military training earlier today,” Truzman tweeted. RELATED: Did Tesco and Shell Redirect Energy From a Solar Farm Meant to Power 100,000 Homes?)
Truzman also addressed the original claim in an Oct. 28 tweet, adding more context to the original video.
This video is from mid 2023 when Hezbollah invited a bunch of media to watch them blow stuff up. It was a giant muscle flexing charade and an excuse to publish propaganda. https://t.co/W3Cb3poCmW
