A video shared on Facebook claims to show Israel Defense Forces (IDF) fighter jets returning to Israel after attacking Iran.
Verdict: False
The video is likely from an Egyptian Air Force flyover, not from the Israel Defense Forces returning from attacking Iran.
Fact Check:
Israel struck several Iranian military installations last week, according to The Washington Post. Satellite images showed that at least two radars and three missile production sites were damaged, per the outlet.
Social media users are sharing a video of jets flying over, claiming it shows Israeli jets returning after attacking Iran. One user wrote, “Israel fighter jet squadrons all returning home from Iran after destroying its air defense systems and several military installations. Kol Hakavod!”
This claim is false. The video was originally posted to TikTok on Oct. 3, which is three weeks before the Israeli attack. The video claims it shows the Egyptian military.

The Egyptian military conducted drills are connected to the graduation of recent graduates from the Egyptian Military Academy. A video of a different view of the flyover is available on YouTube through an Egyptian outlet.
“A magnificent display by the Egyptian Air Force’s Sky Eagles during the graduation ceremony of a new batch of students from the Military Academy,” reads the title, which was translated using Google Translate. (RELATED: Does Viral Photo Show A Crowd Waiting To See Trump At Madison Square Garden?)
