Trump will be ‘protector of women’: Megyn Kelly – Washington Examiner

Megyn Kelly touted former President Donald Trump as a “protector of women,” summing up her four reasons for voting for him.

The SiriusXM host of The Megyn Kelly Show joined Trump at his rally in Pittsburgh just hours before Election Day, pointing to his commitment to protect women’s sports, his immigration and economic policies, and the “old version” of masculinity as supports.

“He got mocked by the Left for saying he would be a protector of women. He will be a protector of women and it is why I am voting for him. He will close the border. He will keep the boys out of girls sports and where they don’t belong,” Kelly said.

Kelly added that she believes Trump will “look out for our boys too,” suggesting that President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have forgotten about the country’s men.

“Guys like these guys, who have the calluses on their hands, who work for a living,” Kelly said, referencing the men standing behind her in the rally’s stands. “The beards and the tats, who maybe have a beer after work and don’t want to be judged by people like Oprah and Beyonce who will never have to face the consequences of her disastrous economic policies.”

Kelly also reminded women that they cannot “win” with the “girl power” of Harris “when the sons and the husbands and the brothers and the dads you love are losing.”

She closed her remarks, rejecting the “toxic masculinity” of the Left.

“I’m not into their version of toxic masculinity or new masculinity. I prefer the old version,” Kelly said. “And I prefer a president who understands how to be strong and how to fight.”

Kelly also told the Washington Examiner that she “cannot stomach the thought” of Harris as president.

“What a god-awful president I think she would be. I think she is far too stupid to be president. I think she’s going to get us into a war that my 15-year-old will have to wind up fighting. I think she will set women back generations,” Kelly said.
