It was a picture for the ages—President-elect Donald Trump, his crew, and an unexpected guest, Health and Human Services Secretary-designate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., chowing down on McDonald’s aboard Trump’s private plane.

Donald Trump Jr. posted the photo Sunday morning with the funny caption, “Make America Healthy Again starts TOMORROW,” which was nothing short of internet gold.

And there they were: Trump, Elon Musk, House Speaker Mike Johnson, Trump Jr., and RFK Jr., who gamely held up his meal, cracking a smile that looked equal parts amused and horrified.

Social media users immediately latched onto the sight of RFK Jr., who has been vocal about cleaning up America’s food systems and an outspoken critic of processed foods, trying to play along in the fast-food extravaganza.

“When the boss offers you McDonald’s at 2 a.m., you take it — even if you’re RFK Jr.,” one user quipped.

Another wrote, “Bobby is trying to be a good sport, but really crying inside.”

RFK Jr. even joined the fun on social media, posting on X, “I can’t wait to eat McDonald’s again! Bring back tallow!”

While the internet had a field day with the photo, RFK Jr. is focused on launching initiatives targeting harmful additives in food.

Just days prior, Kennedy was on a podcast lamenting the “poison” options on Trump’s plane.

“The stuff that he eats is really, like, bad,” Kennedy said during “The Joe Polish Show,” according to The Palm Beach Post.

“Campaign food is always bad, but the food that goes onto that airplane is, like, just poison,” Kennedy said on the podcast, likely referring to Trump’s private airplane. You have a choice between — you don’t have the choice, you’re either given KFC or Big Macs.”

According to the New York Post, “RFK Jr. has insisted he has no desire to ban fast food, calling it “part of American culture” in social media posts last month, but he has called for the elimination of some of the key ingredients that make McDonald’s, well, McDonald’s.”
