BREAKING: President Trump Weighs In on Mike Rogers Leading the FBI Following Grassroots Uproar

The internet exploded this week with rumors that former GOP Rep. Mike Rogers was being considered as FBI Chief by President-elect Donald Trump in his second term.

Mike Rogers recently lost his senate race in Michigan following a late night ballot dump that gave the race to unpopular Democrat Elissa Slotkin in Michigan. Rogers did not question the results and congratulated Slotkin in her win in a state that went for President Trump by nearly 80,000 votes.

Maybe Rogers did not complain about his loss since he was very vocal trashing President Trump in 2020 for contesting the highly controversial and improbable results of the 2020 election.

Recently, shocking comments by Rogers have resurfaced exposing his allegiance to the security state.

Here is Mike Rogers joking about have Eric Snowden assassinated for exposing deep state operations.

Rogers also went on NPR to argue that the “Nunes Memo” that revealed illegal FBI spying on the Trump campaign and his family members, should be suppressed.

Here is a compilation of Mike Rogers defending the warrantless surveillance of Americans. Imagine, if he became our FBI Director.

But Rogers does have his fans.

Deep State hack and Trump-hater Andrew McCabe endorsed Mike Rogers Thursday night on CNN.

McCabe told Kaitlan Collins,

Andrew McCabe: “Kaitlin, I think Mike Rogers is a totally reasonable, logical selection for FBI director. In fact, that’s the decision President-elect Trump makes. I had many interactions with then-representative Rogers during his time as Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.

He’s, as you mentioned, someone with history with the FBI. He understands the organization. He served as an FBI agent for several years before he went off on his political career. In his capacity in the House, I think that the strongest qualification, in my own opinion, about Mr. Rogers is the respect and awareness and knowledge that he has for the intelligence community, for the work they do, for the seriousness of that work, for how those secrets and that sensitive information needs to be protected. In all those counts, I think Mike Rogers fills the bill pretty well.

That should end the discussion about Mike Rogers taking over the FBI right there.

Talk about a red flag warning?

Mike Rogers would be a horrible pick for FBI Chief. Who in Trump’s orbit is pushing this guy?

On Friday morning, Dan Scavino put an end to all of the speculation about Mike Rogers as FBI Chief.

Dan Scavino is a longtime Trump adviser adviser who served in the Trump administration as White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications from 2020 to 2021, and Director of Social Media from 2017 to 2021.

This morning Dan posted this to squelch the frenzy over Mike Rogers.

Dan Scavino: Just spoke to President Trump regarding Mike Rogers going to the FBI. It’s not happening — In his own words, “I have never even given it a thought.” Not happening.

Thank you, Dan!

What wonderful news for a Friday morning!
