Acting Secret Service Chief Ronald Rowe Jr. testifies before Congress regarding the assassination attempts on President-elect Donald Trump.

Upon the resignation of Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle after the first attempt on Trump’s life at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Rowe took charge of the Secret Service on July 23 this year.

The Secret Service faced intense scrutiny over the Butler incident as congressional hearings revealed the agency practiced gross incompetence in securing the area where Trump held his rally.

Then in September, the Secret Service was able to prevent a second assassination attempt on Trump at Mar-a-Lago.
