Verdict: False

There is no evidence Trudeau made this post.

Fact Check:

Trump and Trudeau met for dinner together last week at Trump’s estate in Mar-a-Lago, and both said the meeting went positively, according to CNN. Trump claimed the two spoke about fentanyl and the Trade Deficit, and Trudeau said the conversation was “excellent,” the outlet reported.

An X screenshot appears to show a post authored by Trudeau with the caption, “Oh Canada!” It includes a photo showing people with Canadian flags standing at a cliffside while Trump appears to be falling as if pushed.

The post’s caption reads, “Canada be like ‘Get tha fuck outta here eh?’”

There is no evidence that Trudeau posted this, however. The post cannot be found via a search of Trudeau’s X account. Likewise, there are no credible news reports to corroborate this claim. (RELATED: Did Justin Trudeau Announce A Three-Year Freeze On Accepting Immigrants Into Canada?)

Trudeau made a post last month congratulating Trump’s election win, saying, in part, “The friendship between Canada and the U.S. is the envy of the world.”

Congratulations to Donald Trump on being elected President of the United States.

The friendship between Canada and the U.S. is the envy of the world. I know President Trump and I will work together to create more opportunity, prosperity, and security for both of our nations. pic.twitter.com/yEnL6gxyzO
