Plane crashes in South Korea

A passenger plane carrying 181 people crashed and exploded into a fireball in South Korea on Saturday.

According to preliminary reports, Jeju Air Flight 2216, was flying from Bangkok to Muan Airport when it crashed into the wall at the end of the runway.

The plane tried landing without landing gear.

There are at least 2 survivors and 28 dead, Yonhap reported.

The Express reported:

A plane carrying 181 people on board has exploded after crashing at Muan International Airport in South Korea.

At least 28 of the 175 passengers andf six crew are dead after Jeju Air Flight 7C2216 erupted into flames on landing, which comes after the horrifying Azerbaijan tragedy and a packed passenger jet crashed in ball of flames on Christmas Day

In horrifying video from the crash in Jeollanam-do, the southernmost province in mainland Korea, the plane is seen skidding on the runway before hitting a wall and exploding in a fireball.
