The deadline for CenterState Bank customers to file a claim and receive a portion of a nearly $2.7 million class-action settlement with the bank is in 19 days. The settlement comes after allegations that the bank charged customers illegal overdraft fees.

The $2.65 million settlement will benefit customers who had a checking account with the CenterState Bank and were charged certain overdraft fees on debit transactions between April 6, 2015, and May 31, 2020. Those charged insufficient funds or overdraft fees on automated clearing house debits or checks between Aug. 18, 2015, and Aug. 21, 2020, are also eligible.
