Lots of different moments from Trump’s speech are being shared on social media tonight, but one is being widely described on Twitter/X as the ‘line of the night.’

It came when Trump was describing how he shut down the border and stopped the flow of illegal immigration.

Trump reminded people that Democrats and the media kept saying that new legislation was needed and that the border bill must be passed. Trump then said, “It turns out all we needed was a new president.”
