Reporter Asks President Trump if He Regrets Putting Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett on the Bench (VIDEO)

On Sunday, President Trump answered reporters’ questions aboard Air Force One as he returned to the White House from Palm Beach.

Trump discussed a possible government shutdown, his decision to cut off sharing intel with Ukraine, the future of TikTok and more.

One reporter asked President Trump if he regrets nominating Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.

Trump supporters attacked Amy Coney Barrett after she sided with the liberal justices last week.

Last week the Supreme Court in a 5-4 ruling denied the Trump Administration’s request to vacate Judge Amir Ali’s TRO forcing the administration to pay $2 billion in foreign contracts.

A reporter tried to get President Trump in a gotcha question about Amy Coney Barrett.

“Your supporters are attacking SCOTUS Justice Amy Coney Barrett. You put her on the bench. They’re saying she’s a DEI hire. Do you regret putting her on the bench?” a reporter asked Trump.

Trump knew exactly how to handle to the question.

“Look, she’s a very good woman. She’s very smart, and I don’t know about people attacking her, I really don’t know. I think she’s a very good woman. She’s very smart,” Trump said.
