BREAKING NEWS: Catholic Charities Reported to DOJ for Alleged Trafficking of Illegals Under RICO Law.
A formal complaint has been lodged with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) against Catholic Charities, accusing the organization of violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) through alleged involvement in facilitating illegal immigration.
The complaint, first brought to public attention by journalist Jack Posobiec via a post on X, claims that Catholic Charities, a prominent Catholic nonprofit and recipient of substantial federal funding, has engaged in activities that amount to trafficking undocumented immigrants across U.S. borders.
The filing invokes RICO, a statute traditionally used to combat organized crime, alleging a pattern of racketeering activity tied to the organization’s immigration-related operations.

The complaint specifically accuses Catholic Charities of receiving «billions of dollars» in government grants to resettle immigrants and refugees, funds that critics say have been misused to support illegal immigration rather than lawful humanitarian efforts.
It asserts that the organization has knowingly facilitated the transportation and resettlement of undocumented individuals, potentially in violation of federal immigration laws. Critics cited in the complaint, including activists Rachel Masters Yakima and Dr. Janet Smith, have escalated the allegations by linking these activities to broader negligence, pointing to the claim of «300,000 missing children» as evidence of inadequate oversight and protection of vulnerable populations.
In separate letters addressed to JD Vince and President Trump, Yakima and Smith demanded a RICO investigation not only into Catholic Charities but also into the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, accusing the Church-affiliated group of prioritizing funding over accountability, with Smith and Yakima stating, «They just say, ‘Trust us,’» in reference to the organization’s assurances of compliance.
The allegations build on longstanding criticism from Republican lawmakers and conservative media outlets, who have accused Catholic Charities of encouraging illegal immigration by providing humanitarian aid—such as food, shelter, and transportation—to migrants at the southern border.
The complaint contends that these actions, funded by federal dollars, go beyond charity and actively enable undocumented individuals to enter and remain in the U.S. illegally, constituting a breach of immigration statutes.
It further alleges that Catholic Charities’ leadership has been aware of these violations but has continued the practices as part of a systemic operation, a key element required to substantiate a RICO charge.
As of now, the DOJ has not issued an official statement regarding the complaint, leaving uncertainty about whether it will launch a formal investigation or pursue charges under RICO.
The law requires evidence of a coordinated enterprise engaging in illegal acts over time, and the complaint’s success may hinge on proving that Catholic Charities’ immigration activities meet this threshold.
For its part, the organization has yet to publicly respond to the specifics of the filing, though it has historically defended its mission as one of aiding the vulnerable within legal bounds.

It’s about time!
Why is my/our tax dollars going to any religious organization? The Dems should be screaming «separation of church and state» if it did not benefit them.
As a Catholic, I am grateful to God that the hammer of justice is finally falling upon the heads of the Catholic hierarchy.
Just Like Gov’t, Evil People Infiltrated Existing Charities, Not Just Catholic, but also Lutheran and Other «Religious» Institutions. Churches Who Think That They’re doing a good thing by their Outreach, those Programs were all Hijacked by the Politically Motivated LEFT, the Progressive LEFT, to PROMOTE THEIR COUNTER TO CHRISTIANS TENANTS OF THE BIBLE DEI, GLOBALIST SATANIC PROGRAMS.
THESE PEOPLE THEN ALLOWED USAID TO INJECT HUGE AMOUNTS OF CASH INTO THESE CHARITIES THEN COMANDEER THEMS «ALREADY IN PLACE» TO DO THEIR WORK AND EXPEND IT. HUMAN TRAFFICKING, CHRISTIANS IGNORANTLY SUPPORTING HUMAN TRAFFICKING.
IM SURE SATAN IS RUBBING HIS HANDS TOGETHER LAUGHING BIG BELLY LAUGHS AT OUR COMPLETE STUPIDITY. IT COMES TO A STOP NOW !!! ARREST ALL THE GUILTY PEOPLE AND PUT THEM IN PRISON FOR A VERY LONG TIME !!!
Note: the Vice President’s name is JD Vance (not Vince).
Why do I have to give my name and email EVERY TIME I want to make a comment?!
Why do I have to give my name and my email EVERY SINGLE TIME I want to make a comment?!? Come on, it’s 2025!!
It’s about time. Why does a religion get to break the law?
Catholic charities is anything but Catholic. Dorothy Day and Mother Teresa both saints refused to take any money from the government because then you become just to me a government institution without the charity of Christ.
Catholic Church is complicit in allowing illegal immigration into our country and threatening US citizens.
Aiding and abetting is a felony in the US but yet we are not seeing those laws applied. The church needs to loose it’s NGO status. It’s assets need to be seized and it’s clergy running these operations charged accordingly!!!
Time to destroy this treasonous organization.
I read an article where these Catholic charities said it is their duty as “Christian’s” to help these people. Well if that’s the case use your own money and God will provide whatever you need if he is truly wanting you do this. Getting money from the government to do Gods work isn’t really trusting God now is it?
Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS) a Jewish nonprofit is the other big player that helps illegals find refuge in the U.S. It is also funded by millions of U.S. tax dollars. Mayorkas also once worked for them.
The organisation and the Biden administration need to be held accountable for their actions. Its one thing to assist people who are breaking the law but receiving government funding to do it means that the government at that time was culpable in breaking the law of the land at at that tie as well.
I support this referral.
The ineffective Pam Bondi should recuse herself, as a Catholic.
We need an independent prosecutor to go after the Catholic Church and other organizations support of the invasion of the USA.
Catholic traitors to America.
Don’t forget to include the other NGO’s «serving» illegals at the border. The IRC, Lutheran Services and HIAA also receive tens of billions from the government to «resettle refugees». They also use our funds to lobby for illegals and against taxpayers. Quit funding ALL of these organizations and other NGOs using our money to destroy our country.
We tried to tell them harboring illegals was a crime. Next indict them and indict every mayor of a sanctuary city and every governor that tolerated or supported it.
