The View co-host Ana Navarro is having a hard time of it lately.

The political commentator, who still styles herself as a disaffected Republican despite her vociferous support for Democrats, has admitted that all the Trump voters she knows do not regret their vote.

She made the remarks during an appearance on The View’s podcast Behind The Table, explaining that they are positively “gleeful” about his actions in office, including using police departments in the carrying out the promise of mass deportations.

“Police departments in South Florida are signing cooperation agreements to be deputized as ICE,” she said.

”I keep thinking, okay, this is going to change the way folks [feel].”

”They’re gleeful. Everybody I know who voted for Trump is gleeful and supportive of everything he is doing.”

Navarro has recently attracted criticism for her racially charged remarks.

Last month, she claimed that after Kendrick Lamar delivered an underwhelming half-time show at the Super Bowl, President Trump would “ban black people” from performing at future events.

“You know I don’t do sports, you know I don’t do football, so I wasn’t watching the game,” she said at the time.

“But listen, I think today Donald Trump is going to sign an executive order banning black people from halftime.”

Following rapper Snoop Dogg’s performance at Trump’s inauguration, she described him s a “trained seal” who had betrayed his once fervent oposition to the president.

“The thing that really I think was spotlighting Snoop is because of the things that Snoop Dogg said ten days before the inaugural in 2017,” she explained.

“If you opposed and stood up against Trump in 2017, but you were there now, if you spoke up against trump January 7th, 2021 but you were there now applauding him like a trained seal, Donald Trump has not changed,” she continued. “You’ve changed.
