WATCH LIVE: Joe Biden delivers speech about Hamas terror attack on Israel

President Joe Biden will address the world Saturday afternoon in response to the deadly, surprise attack by Hamas terrorists on Israel.

Thousands of rockets and a stream of armed fighters struck Israel at daybreak in the worst violence the country has seen in years. The attack has left more than 100 people dead and at least 1,000 wounded. Several Israeli soldiers and civilians have been taken hostage.

Biden released a statement earlier condemning the “appalling assault” by “Hamas terrorists” and promised his “Administration’s support for Israel’s security is rock solid and unwavering.”
