Anderson Cooper Humiliated On-Air as He Gets Brutal Woke Fact-Check After Misgendering Civil Rights Attorney

In a moment that could only be described as peak liberal lunacy, CNN’s golden boy Anderson Cooper found himself on the receiving end of a brutal pronoun smackdown during a town hall with socialist darling Bernie Sanders.

During a Bernie Sanders town hall event hosted by CNN, Cooper introduced audience member Grace Thomas, a local civil rights attorney and Democrat activist.

“I want to introduce Grace Thomas. She’s a local civil rights attorney,” Cooper said, only to be met with a smug interjection.

“It’s they/them pronouns, actually,” Thomas snapped.

This wasn’t satire. It was CNN, in real-time, being devoured by the very Frankenstein it helped create.

And the irony? Grace—sorry, they—went on to ask Bernie Sanders a question about why “men” are abandoning the Democrat Party.

She demanded to be called they/them, but was perfectly comfortable referring to an entire demographic as men. The hypocrisy was too loud to ignore.

One X user wrote, “Notice that she insisted on “they/them” pronouns for herself, but then asked a question about “men” leaving the Democrat Party. Isn’t she misgendering by calling people she doesn’t know “men”? At some point will she realize her ideas are insane?”

Another wrote, “Had follow-up question after that misgendering faux paz, where she’s asking Sanders as he leans in to avoid misgendering her and draw everyone’s ire, “why people of all demographics are turning away from the Democratic party?” Who’s going to tell her? It is exactly because of people like her and their behavior that people are turned off and turned away from the Democratic party.”

The conservative backlash was swift and merciless. Collin Rugg, co-owner of Trending Politics, took to X to mock, “CNN’s Anderson Cooper gets corrected after misgendering a civil rights attorney at a town hall event with Bernie Sanders. Wow, what a bigot. Lmao.”

Political Commentator Gunther Eagleman wrote, “Anderson Cooper just misgendered a Civil Rights attorney. They are not serious. Keep on putting the pronoun police on camera, we will win every election.”

Podcast host Riley Gaines didn’t hold back either, sarcastically demanding “Anderson Cooper’s immediate resignation for believing what his eyes were telling him he saw. Bigot.”

Tim Young, a media fellow at the Heritage Foundation, summed up the conservative sentiment: “I can’t stop laughing at this attention-seeking leftist correcting Anderson Cooper on her pronouns… ‘They/them actually…’ Democrats will never win another election again.”
