JUST IN: Democrat Senator Chuck Schumer Hospitalized

Democrat Senator Chuck Schumer, 74, was hospitalized for dehydration on Wednesday.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) was hospitalized on Wednesday morning after becoming lightheaded at the gym, a spokesperson told Axios.

He was treated for dehydration and is back at work in the Capitol, the spokesperson said.

“Leader Schumer was at the Senate gym this morning and got lightheaded. Out of an abundance of caution, he went to the hospital to be treated for dehydration and is now back at work in the Capitol. He wants to remind everyone to drink some water and stay out of the heat,” Schumer’s spox said.

Schumer is reportedly back at the Capitol and tweeting his support for Communist Muslim Zohran Mamdani.
