The government of Israel is calling out supermodel Gigi Hadid for posting a story on her Instagram account “condemning” the government of the Jewish state and supporting the people of Palestine.

Hadid, who is the daughter of Palestinian real-estate developer Mohamed Hadid, made the comment over the weekend.

“There is nothing Jewish about the Israeli government’s treatment of Palestinians,” the story post read. “Condemning the Israeli government is not antisemitic and supporting Palestinians is not supporting Hamas.”

Israel’s Instagram account was quick to respond to the supermodel directly.

“Hi Gigi, the next story is for you,” an initial post with a screenshot of Hadid’s story read.

A statement in the same style as the one shared by Hadid was posted on the country’s next post.

“There is nothing valiant about Hamas’ massacre of Israelis. Condemning Hamas for what it is (ISIS) is not anti-Palestine and supporting Israelis in their fight against barbaric terrorists is the right thing to do,” the statement said.

Accompanying that post and the next was a personal message for Hadid.

“@gigihadid Have you been sleeping the past week? Or are you just fine turning a blind eye to Jewish babies being butchered in their homes? Your silence has been very clear about where you stand. We see you,” the message read.

“If you don’t condemn this your words mean nothing,” it concluded with a bloody image appearing to show the aftermath of the massacre of Israeli children.
