Conservative commentator Dennis Prager slammed antisemitism on display across college campuses.

While appearing on The Megyn Kelly Show on Wednesday, Prager discussed with show host Megyn Kelly video footage that showed multiple people across college campuses taking down photos of missing Israeli residents.

Kelly slammed the antisemitism on display while Prager, who is Jewish, suggested that the footage could “awaken” people of “the rot” from universities over the last few years.

“So now, some people, and certainly not all, are awakening to the moral cesspool that the university has become,” Prager said.

Prager also criticized the Anti-Defamation League, an organization intended to fight antisemitism, claiming that it has created more hate in the last 10-20 years. Prager’s opinion comes as Yazmeen Deyhimi, one of the people seen in the footage tearing down photos of missing Israelis, had worked with the ADL during an internship.

“It was staggering that you told me that that girl, who ripped down the posters, worked at some point for the ADL,” Prager said. “I wasn’t surprised. So maybe there will be an awakening. But the bottom line is, there are tens upon tens of millions of people who want the Jews of Israel exterminated like the Nazis wanted the Jews of Europe exterminated.”

Matthew Carson Wranovics, a library staffer at the University of Pennsylvania, was also shown taking down photos of kidnapped Israelis in the video footage. A spokesperson for the school stated that the incident was “a personnel matter that is being investigated,” according to the New York Post.

Like Prager, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has criticized academia for its coverage of the conflict between Israel and Hamas, calling out the presidents of Columbia University, Dartmouth College, Stanford University, and the American Bar Association for declining to stand firmly against the attacks on Israel.

“I can only hope that the leaders of America’s universities recognize what time it is in America,” McConnell said. “This is a time for moral clarity, not a time for antisemitic hate dressed in faculty-lounge jargon.”
