Kid Rock responded Tuesday to Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom after the politician’s press office publicly trolled him on X.
Kid Rock wasted no time clapping back after Newsom’s press office shared an image depicting the musician dressed as Uncle Sam and encouraging Americans to support the governor. The AI image of Kid Rock was shared Aug. 17 and bore the words, “Kid Rock wants you to support Gavin Newsom.”
“I accept,” the press office captioned it.
“Thanks, Kid Rock,” the governor trolled with his own account Sunday.

Taking matters into his own hands, Kid Rock reposted the image with his own account. “The only support Gavin Newscum will ever get out of me is from DEEZ NUTZ,” he captioned it.

Newsom’s press office has seemingly gone rogue on their social media account in recent days, sharing a slew of parodies and relentless mocking that took aim at President Donald Trump. They started by mocking Trump’s social media tone, then shared an image showing Kid Rock, Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson and the late Hulk Hogan surrounding him with their hands delicately touching their shoulders in a show of support. Adding a bit more insult to the meme, they slapped a pair of angel wings and a halo onto Hogan and added the sarcastic caption, “so nice!”
