In March 2025, a school district in Massachusetts forced students to complete a sexually explicit questionnaire despite rules saying the survey should have been voluntary, according to legal complaints. Parents were up in arms, a complaint was filed, and the school district probably thought its apology was where the story ended.
Thankfully for these middle school and high school students, the U.S. Department of Education announced it would launch an investigation into the matter, and the initial findings are disturbing.
