WATCH: President Trump Makes Major Announcement on Autism and Vaccines

President Trump on Monday announced that the use of acetaminophen, the active ingredient in Tylenol, can increase the risk of autism when used by pregnant women.

HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said Tylenol is tied to autism, ADHD and liver toxicity in children.

“Today, the FDA will issue a physician’s notice about the risk of acetaminophen during pregnancy and begin the process to initiate a safety label change,” Secretary Kennedy said. “There is a potential association between acetaminophen use during pregnancy and adverse neurodevelopmental outcomes, including later diagnosis for ADHD and autism.”

President Trump also pleaded with mothers not to pump their babies with too many vaccines at once.

“It’s so important to me to see a doctor – 4 times or 5 times for a vaccine. Don’t let ’em pump your baby up with the largest pile of stuff you’ve ever seen in your life going into the delicate little body of a baby. Even if it’s 2 years or 3 years, 4 years,” Trump said.

“Just break it up into 5,let’s say 4 visits instead of 1,” Trump said adding the government is already in the process of eliminating mercury and aluminum,” Trump said.
