Illegal Immigrants Join Popular Finance Show, Admit To Being In Crippling Debt Despite Not Paying Taxes

Two illegal immigrants who appeared on personal-finance YouTuber Caleb Hammer’s “Financial Audit” admitted this week they’re buried in debt while the man said he pays little to no taxes, and Hammer ultimately cut the interview short Wednesday.

The episode — titled “These Illegal Immigrants Are F*cked” — shows the Phoenix couple outlining massive liabilities while insisting they “deserve” a new Toyota Tacoma, a clip of which went viral on X. “You guys are f*cked! … I’m done!” Hammer says as he ends the interview.

In the segment, the man, who says he works construction, estimates monthly income around $6,000 and acknowledges paying “little to no taxes.”

Rugg’s post summarized the couple’s position — that they’re roughly $420,000 in debt with no concrete plan to pay it down while eyeing a new truck anyway — and highlighted Hammer’s decision to end the taping after they balked at making substantial changes.

Hammer, whose “Financial Audit” format walks guests through their budgets, debts and spending choices, has built a large audience by confronting self-inflicted money problems on camera. The Phoenix couple’s appearance drew fresh attention as viewers watched a lengthy list of loans and consumer balances collide with casual admissions about avoiding taxes and prioritizing a new vehicle purchase.
