The State Department is holding a briefing as the war between Israel and Hamas continues into its third week.

State Department spokesman Matthew Miller is scheduled to start the briefing at 2:15 p.m. Eastern time from Washington.

The war in Israel has resulted in more than 6,000 deaths in Israel and Gaza, according to the Associated Press, along with the deaths of at least 30 Americans.
