President Trump told reporters that he “just disagreed” with Marjorie Taylor Greene’s decisions and “philosophy,” calling her a nice person on Saturday.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Marjorie Taylor Greene released a nearly 11-minute video on Friday, explaining her decision to resign from Congress in January.

This comes after Trump disavowed her numerous times in recent weeks following her bipartisan push to release the Epstein files, which Trump ultimately supported and signed into law on Wednesday.

“I have too much self-respect and dignity, love my family way too much, and do not want my sweet district to have to endure a hurtful and hateful primary against me by the President we all fought for, only to fight and win my election while Republicans will likely lose the midterms,” Greene said in her announcement.

“If I am cast aside by MAGA Inc. and replaced by Neocons, Big Pharma, Big Tech, Military Industrial War Complex, foreign leaders, and the elite donor class that can’t even relate to real Americans, then many common Americans have been cast aside and replaced as well.”

Immediately afterward, Trump told a reporter that Greene’s resignation from Congress is “great news for the country.”

When Trump was asked if he was “willing to forgive Greene” on Saturday, he responded, “Forgive for what? No, I just disagreed with her philosophy.” He further condemned her for aligning with Rep. Thomas Massie, whom he described as “the worst Republican congressman in our history.”

“But I think she’s a nice person, he added.

Reporter: Are you willing to forgive Congresswoman Greene?

Trump:  Forgive for what? No, I just disagreed with her philosophy. She started backing, perhaps, the worst Republican congressman in our history. You know, a stupid person named Massey, and I said, go your own way. And once I left her, she resigned because she would never have survived the primary. But I think she’s a nice person.

Trump also released a statement this morning on Truth Social, slamming Greene and referring to her as “Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown.”

However, he added, “Nevertheless, I will always appreciate Marjorie, and thank her for her service to our Country!”

His reporting on election crimes in Maricopa County led to the resignation of one election official, and he was later banned from the Maricopa County press room for his courage in pursuit of the truth. TGP and Jordan finally gained access after suing Maricopa County, America's fourth largest county, and winning at the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.
