Trump Orders U.S. Embassies to “Take Note” of Countries Where Authorities Promote or Fund Abortions, Euthanasia, Gender Reassignment Surgeries on Minors, or Diversity Policies

The administration of President Donald Trump has issued unprecedented directives to the United States Department of State. These instructions require diplomats at embassies and consulates around the world to meticulously document, in the annual human rights reports, government practices that promote or subsidize abortion, euthanasia, gender transition surgeries on minors, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies.
The Trump administration has rewritten guidelines for the U.S. State Department’s annual Human Rights Report so that foreign DEI programs, affirmative action, and state-funded abortion can now be labeled as human rights violations.

Announced this week, this measure represents a frontal rejection of the “destructive ideologies” driven by global progressive agendas that, during the Biden era, had infiltrated U.S. diplomacy, diluting the focus on natural rights inherent to the human person.
The paradigm shift is clear: while previous reports prioritized the persecution of marginalized groups such as ethnic minorities or the LGBTQ+ community, the new approach centers on “natural rights” granted by God, such as the right to life from conception, bodily integrity, and freedom of conscience.
According to State Department spokesman Tommy Pigott, these directives aim to expose violations such as the “chemical or surgical mutilation of children in gender modification procedures,” the state promotion of abortion as “health care,” coercion toward euthanasia, and the imposition of DEI policies that discriminate in employment or education based on race or gender.

Mass immigration poses an existential threat to Western civilization and undermines the stability of key U.S. allies. Today, the Department of State has instructed U.S. embassies to report on the human rights implications and public safety impacts of mass immigration.
In addition, embassies are instructed to monitor medical abuses such as forced medical testing, organ harvesting without consent, and eugenic genetic editing of human embryos, as well as the facilitation of illegal mass migrations that undermine national sovereignty.
This policy not only corrects the leftist bias of previous administrations—which used the reports to pressure conservative nations while ignoring atrocities in regimes aligned with the woke agenda—but also strengthens the moral standing of the United States on the international stage.
Under Trump, diplomacy will no longer serve as a vehicle to export cultural relativism that equates late-term abortion with a human right or gender transition in adolescents with social progress. Instead, it will prioritize holding accountable governments that subsidize these practices, potentially affecting future foreign aid allocations and strategic alliances.
For example, the emphasis on religious freedom includes documenting antisemitism and violence against Christians, reminding the world how the global left has tolerated the rise of extremism under the pretext of multiculturalism.
Conservative experts celebrate this move as a return to America’s founding principles, where life and liberty are non-negotiable. Senator Marco Rubio, a key influence on Trump’s foreign policy, has publicly defended these directives as protecting the vulnerable from “ideological experiments” disguised as rights.
While the UN and the EU impose gender quotas and online censorship through laws such as the Digital Services Act, this U.S. directive sends a powerful message: nations that place the progressive agenda above human dignity will be exposed, not celebrated.
This initiative aligns with Trump’s vision of a strong and morally upright America, countering the advance of leftist globalism that has eroded borders and family values. By requiring embassies to document these violations, an impartial record is created that could influence trade agreements, sanctions, and votes in international forums, ensuring that diplomacy serves truth, not ideology.
