Crowd gathering at night with people celebrating and filming a fire display, showcasing vibrant energy and excitement in a public space.

A Hindu man in Mymensingh, Bangladesh, was murdered by a mob of radical Islamists following the assassination of youth leader and politician Osman Sharif Hadi, which sparked violence in the streets.

The victim, Dipu Chandra Das, was accused of blasphemy against Islam in social media posts. However, there is reportedly no evidence of this claim. This also comes amid a wave of violence against the Hindu minority in Bangladesh following the ousting of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina last August.

Video from the mob shows the man being tied to a tree and set on fire as the monsters whip him and cheer.

These are the sort of animals that liberals want to bring to a city near you.

Per NDTV:

A Hindu man’s lynching by an Islamist mob has renewed concerns for minorities as fresh violence grips Bangladesh after the death of a prominent anti-India radical leader.

Dipu Chandra Das, who worked at a garment factory in Mymensingh, was beaten to death on Thursday night for allegedly insulting Islam, while some violent protesters demanding justice for the assassination of Osman Sharif Hadi vandalised key landmarks over a hundred kilometres away in Dhaka.

After Das’s lynching, his lifeless body was tied to a tree and set on fire, with dozens of people seen celebrating the barbarity.

The victim’s father appeared hopeless as he narrated the incident to NDTV, despite Muhammad Yunus’s interim government condemning the lynching and ordering action. “No one from the government has given any assurance. No one said anything,” Ravilal Das said, recounting that he first got the news of his son’s killing from Facebook.

According to the father, the mob poured kerosene on Dipu Das’s corpse and set him ablaze before leaving his burnt torso and head to a tree.

At least 12 people have reportedly been arrested in connection with the brutal lynching. As many as 150 people have been accused of the murder by the victim’s brother.

Per India Today:

Two more persons were arrested on Sunday in connection with the lynching of a Hindu man in Bangladesh, according to a media report.

With the latest arrests, 12 people have been held for their alleged involvement in the murder, The Daily Star newspaper reported, quoting police and Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) sources.

According to the police, Das was first beaten up by a mob outside the factory over blasphemy allegations and hanged from a tree. The crowd then left the body of the deceased on the side of the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway and later set it on fire.

It was alleged that Das had written a social media post hurting religious sentiments.

However, Company Commander of RAB-14 in Mymensingh, Md Samsuzzaman, told The Daily Star on Saturday that no evidence was found indicating that the deceased had posted anything on social media that might have hurt religious sentiments.
