School Bus Driver Allegedly Caught Banging Prostitute On The Bus

Police arrested a Delaware school bus driver Jan. 12 after video footage allegedly showed him picking up a prostitute and engaging in sex acts on the bus.

Prosecutors charged Alvin Rohm, 62, with lewdness and patronizing a prostitute within 1,000 feet of a school, resident, church or place, according to a Dover Police Department (DPD) press release. The incident occurred on Jan. 6 and was discovered when a school district employee was reviewing footage while looking into an unrelated matter aboard a school bus, police alleged.

The footage allegedly showed Rohm picking up a woman off the street and then driving to another street. He parked the vehicle and proceeded to engage in sex acts in exchange for cash, the DPD said. Police obtained the footage of the alleged encounter, launched an investigation and later arrested Rohm without incident.

Police said Rohm was not a school district employee, but was working for a contracted bus service. It is unclear what time the alleged encounter occurred or if Rohm had driven children on the school bus that day, according to the New York Post. Rohm was released on his own recognizance, police said. (RELATED: Superintendent Of Iowa’s Largest School System Pleading Guilty After ICE Arrest)

The incident is not the first time a school bus driver has been accused of engaging in inappropriate activity.

Kenneth Alexander Thompson, Jr. was arrested and charged with three counts of statutory rape of a child younger than 15 years old in November 2025, WRAL reported. He allegedly had multiple sexual encounters with a middle school student beginning in November 2024. Thompson Jr., 25, drove a school bus in Durham, North Carolina, according to the outlet.

The Daily Caller contacted the DPD, who did not immediately comment on the incident involving Rohm.
