EXCLUSIVE A pro-Tim Sheehy super PAC is dropping more than $200,000 in a radio ad buy in Montana beginning on Tuesday, focusing on his support of former President Donald Trump, border security, and his military background.

More Jobs, Less Government, a super PAC that is supporting Sheehy’s bid for Senate in Montana, is spending $250,000 on the ad that will run statewide. This is just one ad of a radio ad buy across more than six weeks that has been planned in support of Sheehy.

“Conservative Tim Sheehy doesn’t back down from a fight,” the narrator in the ad says. “Sheehy’s a decorated Navy SEAL, served in Iraq and Afghanistan, and completed hundreds of combat missions. Sheehy was awarded the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. A pro-Trump Republican, Sheehy is tough on border security. Tim Sheehy will push to finish President Trump’s border wall, deport violent illegals, and eliminate sanctuary cities.”

Sheehy has endorsed Trump in the 2024 election and is running for the Republican nomination to take on Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT).

He is the overwhelming favorite to win the Republican nomination, having received the backing of most Senate Republicans, including Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT), who heads the National Republican Senatorial Committee.

But there remains the possibility that hard-line conservative Rep. Matt Rosendale (R-MT) will jump in the race. While it would be an uphill climb for Rosendale to beat Sheehy, his entry would significantly complicate Sheehy’s path to the Senate. However, a number of establishment Republicans and Senate leaders have been working to boost Sheehy and ensure Rosendale does not get in the race.
