JUST IN: Catherine O’Hara Cause of Death Revealed

Legendary Hollywood actress Catherine O’Hara passed away last month.

She was 71 years old.

Catherine O’Hara was known for her roles in “Home Alone,” and “Schitt’s Creek.”

The Canadian-born actress won an Emmy for her role as Moira Rose on Schitt’s Creek.

O’Hara passed away in her Los Angeles home after a ‘brief illness.’

According to Page Six, Catherine O’Hara was rushed to a hospital in “serious condition” hours before she died.

“Paramedics were called to the “Schitt’s Creek” star’s Brentwood home at 4:48 a.m. Friday morning for a medical aid call, according to a Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson,” Page Six reported.

According to TMZ, Catherine O’Hara died of a blood clot in the lungs.

TMZ reported:

Catherine O’Hara passed away from a blood clot in the lungs … TMZ has learned.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office revealed the actress’ cause of death Monday … O’Hara’s immediate cause of death is listed as pulmonary embolism, with rectal cancer as the underlying cause.
