BREAKING UPDATE: Young Girl Killed, Four Injured in ‘Family Dispute’ in Shooting at Ice Hockey Rink in Rhode Island – Suspect Dead

Update: Officials said the shooting is related to a family dispute. A man reportedly opened fire and killed his wife and daughter before turning the gun on himself.

WATCH:

Multiple people were injured after a shooting at a high school ice hockey game in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on Monday.

Two victims, including a young girl, were killed in the shooting.

Three other people were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Their conditions are not known.

According to Fox News, the unidentified suspect is dead.

WPRI reported:

A suspect is dead after multiple people were shot at Dennis M Lynch Arena in Pawtucket Monday afternoon, officials confirmed to Target 12.

The arena is an indoor ice skating rink on Andrew D Ferland Way.

An employee at the Walgreens nearby told Target 12 that people came into the pharmacy panicking, saying there was a shooting. The employee said they were told to close and evacuate the building. They called 911 and the people hid inside the store.

In addition to the suspect, one of the victims is dead. Four victims have been taken to the hospital.
