Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC) is making a special campaign announcement Thursday morning in his home state of South Carolina.
It’s unclear at this time what the topic of the announcement will be, but many are speculating that he may be the latest congressman to retire at the end of this year. Clyburn, 85, has served 17 terms in Congress since he was first elected in 1992.
