Shooting at South Carolina’s Largest Mall Leaves Two Injured, 17-Year-Old Arrested (VIDEOS)

Gunfire erupted at Haywood Mall in Greenville, South Carolina, the state’s largest mall, on Saturday afternoon, and a teenager has been arrested.
The incident took place around 1 p.m.
An on-duty Greenville police officer heard the gunfire and responded immediately to find two victims wounded at the scene.
Officers quickly determined the shooting was not random but stemmed from a personal argument between individuals who knew each other.
Two people suffered gunshot wounds during the exchange.
A woman who was an uninvolved bystander was shot in the foot, while a man was hit in the shoulder and neck area.
Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital and remain in stable condition.

Police detained several people in the immediate aftermath, and a 17-year-old suspect who fired a weapon has been arrested.
According to a report from local station WSPA, “Detectives are working to identify more suspects involved in the shooting.”
Charges against those involved are pending, and the investigation is ongoing.
