President Donald Trump has nominated Kimberly Greenwood, the wife of country singer Lee Greenwood, to serve as the U.S. ambassador to Barbados and seven other nations in the Eastern Caribbean.

Kimberly Greenwood’s nomination was among dozens of judicial, ambassadorial, and other administration nominations sent to the Senate on Monday. If confirmed, she would serve as ambassador to Barbados and, without additional compensation, as the top U.S. envoy to St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
