House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) and Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) got into an exchange filled with blue language and high tempers during an “Oversight of the U.S. General Services Administration” committee hearing on Tuesday.

Moskowitz said Comer should sit for a deposition over allegations that he paid his brother a $200,000 personal loan despite investigating President Joe Biden for loaning his brother James Biden money during his vice presidency. Comer took up Moskowitz’s offer of letting the chairman use his remaining time to respond to the allegations but quickly frustrated the Florida Democrat, who tried to reclaim his time.

“No, I’m not gonna give you your time back, we can stop the clock,” Comer said. “You all continue to — you look like a smurf here just going around and all this stuff.”

Comer told Moskowitz, who was dressed in a plaid blue suit, that “he’s never loaned” his brother a single penny.

Comer has been investigating the Biden family’s business dealings alongside House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) and cited a loan to James Biden as part of the president’s criminal wrongdoing.

“Why should they believe you? Why should they believe there’s a different rule for the president?” Moskowitz said. “There’s a different rule for you. Why should they believe what you’re saying, Mr. Chairman?”

Moskowitz, who recently issued subpoenas for Comer, calling him a hypocrite over the investigation, urged the Oversight Committee chairman to sit for a deposition.

“I will sit with Hunter Biden and Joe Biden and we can go over our LLC,” Comer said. “Let’s do that, we’ll be transparent.”
