Squad” Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) is a member of a secret Facebook group whose users have expressed support for Hamas after its recent deadly terror attack against Israel, according to a report.

Tlaib has been part of the Palestinian American Congress Facebook group, which is hidden from the public eye and not searchable on the platform, Fox News reported, noting the group’s founder is Maher Abdel-qader, a pro-Palestinian activist who has campaigned over the years with Democrats — including Tlaib. The congresswoman was notably censured last week by her House colleagues for “promoting false narratives” about the Israel-Gaza conflict, which has seen over 1,400 Israelis killed since Oct 7.

The report on Tlaib’s membership in the Facebook group comes one day after a Washington Examiner story detailed how Tlaib co-founded Black for Palestine, an anti-Israel organization in Detroit that has expressed support and held ties to terror. Black for Palestine has engaged in advocacy with Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network, an Israeli-designated terror coalition sponsored by the Arizona-based charity Alliance for Global Justice, social media posts show.

In the Tlaib Facebook group, one member named Nader Abou-said posted on Oct. 12, “We don’t want to throw you in the sea…we want you to ride it back from where you came,” along with a picture of a Hamas terrorist with an elderly Israeli woman held captive, Fox News reported.

Hussein al-khatib, another member, reportedly posted on Oct. 19 to boast about the “achievements” of the “resistance in Northern occupied Palestine” weeks after the war broke out while sharing an image of a terrorist holding his finger in the air.

Meanwhile, back on Oct. 10, three days after Hamas launched its attack, a member of the group posted, “You consider Hamas a terrorist organization and I am not going to argue with you at the same time you have been broadcasting that they have been killing women and children, guess that is what terrorists do at the same time no mention to the killing of Palestinian women, children and entire families killed on a daily basses [sic] by the [peace-loving] state of Israel using American gifts of weapons and jet fighters.”

“Yesterday I didn’t see Hamas I saw the grand kids [sic] of the refugees that ethnically cleansed from their homeland attacking the grand kids [sic] of the colonists whom sent them to diaspora,” the person continued.

Tlaib joined the Facebook group six years ago and, in 2018, posted in it about her congressional campaign. On the heels of the Hamas attacks, Abdel-qader has promoted terrorist talking points on social media, including the false claim that the Jewish state “bombed” the Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza.

Tlaib did not return a request for comment.
