Legendary singer Barbra Streisand said Tuesday in an interview with late-night host Stephen Colbert that she “can’t live in this country” if former President Donald Trump is reelected in the 2024 election.

“I will move. I can’t live in this country if he became president,” Streisand said in an interview on The Late Show.

Colbert inquired about where she would move if Trump were reelected.

“Probably to England. I like England,” she said.

The Funny Girl actress called the political atmosphere in the United States “bad,” but she noted she likes President Joe Biden and said “he’s done a good job.”

Streisand was saddened by the rise of antisemitism.

“It’s so sad,” she said. “It’s so sad what’s going on today, meaning people have to live together, even though they are different religions or whatever. People are people. It’s true. You know, we all want the same thing. We all want love in our hearts. We all want family.”

She added, “This is beyond religion. This is insanity for us not to learn how to live together in peace.”

Streisand spoke to Colbert on her book tour for her new autobiography, My Name is Barbra. In it, she calls Trump “completely unfit.”

In October, singer Cher also threatened to leave the country if Trump is elected in 2024.
