Top Biden-allied dark money group pledges to stop funding Palestinian terror-tied charity

EXCLUSIVE — An influential left-wing environmental group is announcing it will no longer support an “anti-capitalist” nonprofit organization in Arizona revealed through a Washington Examiner investigation to share Palestinian terror connections.
League of Conservation Voters, one of the largest dark money activist hubs promoting President Joe Biden‘s climate agenda, granted $10,000 in 2022 to Alliance for Global Justice, which has faced congressional scrutiny and legal pressure for its ties to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine terror faction, tax forms show. However, LCV, whose newly unearthed cash transfer was for a project under Alliance for Global Justice called South Bronx Unite in New York City, “will not be making grants through this organization in the future,” its spokesman David Willett said.
DEMOCRATIC DARK MONEY JUGGERNAUT POURED $1 MILLION INTO PALESTINIAN TERROR-TIED CHARITY
“LCV made a one-time grant in 2022 to a New York City-based environmental justice group where Alliance of Global Justice was the fiscal sponsor,” Willett told the Washington Examiner. “LCV does not — and will not — support terrorism.”
The donor revelation, which has not been reported, underscores how Alliance for Global Justice faces an uncertain future as liberal grantmakers and payment processors, including PayPal, Stripe, Deluxe, and Salsa Labs, sever ties with the Tucson-based charity over concerns it is bankrolling terror — particularly after the Oct. 7 Hamas-led terror attacks that killed more than 1,200 people in Israel. LCV has trained Biden administration appointees on climate messaging and coordinated policy matters with Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Michael Regan, according to Fox News.
Newly filed tax forms show LCV raked in $68 million and spent $90 million in 2022 boosting liberal causes. The environmental group, which as a 501(c)(4) nonprofit group is not required to disclose its donors, sent $2.5 million last year to Future Forward USA Action, a Biden-blessed dark money group, documents show.
Other groups that have asserted this year they won’t fund AFGJ anymore include New Venture Fund and Windward Fund, two charities managed by the Democratic-linked dark money juggernaut Arabella Advisors, the Ford Foundation, and Arnold Ventures, an LLC bankrolled by ex-Enron executive John Arnold. Meanwhile, a source close to the Schmidt Family Foundation, which steers the wealth of ex-Google CEO Eric Schmidt and his wife Wendy Schmidt, said in late October the nonprofit group has no plans to keep supporting AFGJ, the Washington Examiner reported.
Through an arrangement called fiscal sponsorship, AFGJ provides services such as payroll, donation processing, human resources, and health insurance for anti-Israel projects, including the Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network — an Israeli-designated terror coalition. Samidoun, which has shared staffers with the PFLP terror group, has been organizing Hamas-allied protests after Oct. 7 and was banned in Germany recently upon its activists reportedly handing out candy to Berlin protesters to celebrate the killing of Jews.
Samidoun, like South Bronx Unite, cannot accept credit card donations due to payment processors booting AFGJ off their platforms. South Bronx Unite mobilizes “neighborhood residents, community organizations, and allies to advocate equity and justice in the South Bronx,” according to its X account. The New York-based project, for instance, seeks to “advance green space equity” and runs a campaign called “no new Jails,” according to its website.
Watchdog groups have accused AFGJ of providing “material support to terrorism” due to its sponsorship of Samidoun, while members of Congress, including House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul (R-TX), have raised concerns over United States companies working with the charity. Samidoun “is an international network of organizers and activists working to build solidarity with Palestinian prisoners in their struggle for freedom,” its website says.
Samidoun’s coalition includes Collectif Palestine Vaincra, a French organization that claims on its website to be partnered with the PFLP, the Washington Examiner reported. AFGJ fundraised earlier this year for Collectif Palestine Vaincra, prompting Zachor Legal Institute, a pro-Israel think tank, to file an IRS complaint against the Arizona charity.
While LCV joins a growing chorus of liberal groups jumping ship from AFGJ, which pocketed a staggering $56 million in its fiscal year ending in March 2021, many donors have either remained silent or pushed back against plans to cease support.
“Currently, there is no assessment from any of the sources on which we generally rely that Alliance for Global Justice is operating outside the law or violating the criteria we apply for determining grant worthiness,” spokesman Doug Root for the Pittsburgh Foundation, a massive grantmaker that has poured more than $100,000 into AFGJ’s coffers, told the Washington Examiner on Oct. 3 — four days before the Hamas-led terror attacks.

AFGJ has also received large checks from the George Soros philanthropy network, the Tides Foundation and its sister group, the Tides Center, Raikes Foundation, Planned Parenthood, Borealis Philanthropy, Abigail Disney, and even Vijaya Gadde, an ex-Twitter executive who has come under fire for playing a role in suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story
