Fetterman suffered the stoke in mid-May leading up to his 2022 election, and many conservatives slung insults his way and criticized his ability to conduct Senate business if he were to be elected.
That criticism followed him to the Senate after he defeated Republican candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz and throughout his recovery.
“I’ve gotten much, much better, better and better, and Fox News is devastated to know that,” Fetterman said.
In his time recovering from the stroke, the senator has used technology to help with lingering hearing and processing problems.
On The View, he used a closed-captioning device and spoke about how technology such as that has helped him and can help millions with disabilites.
“It’s taught me, one, how important it is to have the kind of technology if you have a disability to allow you to participate fully,” he said.
“This is actually on my phone,” he said, demonstrating one of the devices he uses. “I want people to see and understand that these are like your eyes, and, of course, I’m able to process things, and this allows me to participate in interviews. It allows me to participate in all kinds of conversations with my children.”
