Biden concedes he is ‘not sure’ he would be seeking reelection if it wasn’t for Trump

President Joe Biden admitted he may not have sought reelection if former President Donald Trump did not announce his own campaign for a second term.

“If Trump wasn’t running, I’m not sure I’d be running, but [we] cannot let him win,” Biden told donors on Tuesday in Boston.

Biden made the comments as his campaign has picked up its pace, and the president has spent the day in the Boston area for three fundraisers, including a concert with musician James Taylor.
