Dolly Parton holds holiday tradition dear, including dress and hair design: ‘So many Christmas memories’

Dolly Parton’s glitzy style and big hair have long been a signature of the music legend, and it’s no different at Christmas time.

Parton, 77, shared how she is “always in costume at Christmas.”

“If I’m not in a Santa suit, I wear reds and greens,” the musician shared on X, formerly known as Twitter. “I wear sweaters with Christmas lights on them where I push a button and I light up.”

The musician also shared that she enjoys decking out her hair with Christmas decor.

“My hairdresser Cheryl Riddle, even puts Christmas lights in my hair for Cookie Night. I have so many Christmas memories,” Parton added.

Parton said she included many of her memories in her latest book, Behind the Seams: My Life in Rhinestones.

Parton released the book in October, detailing her career and fashion journey through photos.
