Jimmy Kimmel explodes and threatens legal action over Aaron Rodgers’s Epstein list remark

Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel exploded on NFL star Aaron Rodgers and appeared to threaten legal action Tuesday after the New York Jets quarterback suggested Kimmel would appear on the Epstein list.

“There’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, that are really hoping that doesn’t come out,” Rodgers said on a recent episode of The Pat McAfee Show.

McAfee appeared quick to try and quell any additional comment from Rodgers and explain the situation to his audience.

“All right. All right,” he said. “Obviously, a clip from this particular program was run on Jimmy Kimmel’s program whenever Aaron brought up the list, and then Jimmy mocked him for it.”

“Aaron has not forgotten about that.”

Rodgers, who was joining the conversation from what appeared to be his wine cellar, chimed in for one final comment.

“I’ll tell you what,” the Super Bowl champion said. “If that list comes out, I definitely will be popping some sort of bottle.”

Kimmel did not seem to take kindly to Rodgers’s remarks, and he was adamant in denying any suggestion that he ever visited the late Jeffrey Epstein’s notorious island.

“Dear Aa******: for the record, I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any ‘list’ other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality,” the host of Jimmy Kimmel Live! posted to X.

“Your reckless words put my family in danger. Keep it up and we will debate the facts further in court.”

The Washington Examiner reached out to Kimmel’s publicist for comment but did not receive a response.
