EXCLUSIVE — Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley’s presidential campaign is highlighting her conservative bona fides in a video being released Thursday ahead of her Iowa CNN town hall, which will take place directly after the network’s town hall with Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL).

The video, titled “A True Conservative Warrior,” looks at Haley’s record as the governor of South Carolina through the lens of prominent conservative and news media voices.

“I think she’s a very, very successful governor,” former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, who has endorsed former President Donald Trump, said in one clip.

In another, former Republican Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin added, “Some of the good old boys — maybe they don’t like it too much. She stands up for conservative principles, and she doesn’t back down from a challenge.”

Several news clips are also included, recalling Haley’s veto of 87 line items from the South Carolina budget in 2015, staunch “anti-union” stance, crackdown on illegal immigration, support of a 20-week abortion restriction law, and the strong economy and low unemployment rate she oversaw.

The video further touches on her time as U.N. ambassador during the Trump administration, reminding viewers with a sound bite in which one woman claims Haley is “the surprise rock star of this administration without question” due to her perceived toughness.

Per Fox News’s Greg Gutfeld, also reflecting on Haley’s role as ambassador in a clip, “Haley shows us what American foreign policy looks like with a spine.”

The video is being released ahead of Haley’s participation in a CNN town hall in Iowa at Grand View University in Des Moines. The event will be moderated by CNN anchor Erin Burnett at 10 p.m., while DeSantis’s town hall is moderated by CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins at 9 p.m.

The two town halls come ahead of the channel’s Jan. 10 debate for which only Trump, DeSantis, and Haley have qualified. It appears only DeSantis and Haley will participate in the matchup, as Trump has agreed to a town hall on Fox News at the same time. However, Haley and DeSantis have called on the Republican front-runner to attend the debate.

The Iowa caucuses will take place days after the debate on Jan. 15.
