Jill Biden slams Republicans for showing nude Hunter Biden pictures: ‘Cruel’

First lady Jill Biden slammed Republicans on the House Oversight Committee after one member showed nude photographs of first son Hunter Biden during a hearing on Wednesday.

The first lady said the way that Republicans in Congress treat her son is “cruel” and claimed that showing the images was “horrible.”

“I think what they are doing to Hunter is cruel. And I’m really proud of how Hunter has rebuilt his life after addiction. I love my son, and it’s hurt my grandchildren … It’s affecting their lives as well.”

“What they are doing to Hunter is cruel, and I’m really proud of how he has rebuilt his life after addiction,” Jill Biden said in an interview that aired on Morning Joe on Thursday. “I love my son. It’s hurt my grandchildren. That’s what I’m so concerned about, that it’s affecting their lives as well.”

The comments come a day after Hunter Biden crashed a hearing on whether to hold him in “contempt of Congress” because he failed to sit down for a deposition last month. President Joe Biden’s son only stayed at the hearing for approximately 30 minutes, along with his attorney, Abbe Lowell, and entertainment lawyer Kevin Morris.

During the hearing, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) showed explicit photos of the first son, which blacked out the most graphic portions. She also showed nudge images of Hunter Biden during a different meeting last July.

“These are marked out showing proof of [anti-prostitution] Mann Act violations,” Greene said on Wednesday. “Democrats should not be offended by pictures that black out things; they should be offended by actual human trafficking.”

Jill Biden claimed that rhetoric from conservatives made her more motivated to help her husband win another term. She also defended her husband during the interview on Thursday, stating that his age made him more “experienced.”

“He can do it. I see Joe every day. I see him out, you know, traveling around this country. I see his vigor. I see his energy. I see his passion every single day,” she said. “I say his age is an asset. He’s wise. He has wisdom. He has experience. He knows every leader on the world stage. He’s lived history. He knows history. He’s thoughtful in his decisions. He is the right man or the right person for the job at this moment in history.”

Joe Biden is expected to become the Democratic nominee for president and will likely face either former President Donald Trump, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, or Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) as the Republican nominee. Trump is currently leading the pack.
