The View hosts ‘pissed off’ at Fani Willis for compromising ‘case of her lifetime’

The View hosts sounded off on prosecutor Fani Willis for compromising her RICO case against Donald Trump with allegations of an inappropriate relationship with a special prosecutor.

Willis is accused of being in a romantic relationship with prosecutor Nathan Wade. The two are in the middle of trying a case against Trump over alleged election interference. Neither Wade nor Willis have confirmed they are in a relationship. However, Willis was subpoenaed to testify for Wade’s divorce proceedings.

As a result, Trump is now seeking to have the case in Georgia dismissed.

“I just personally am pissed off about this. This is the case of her lifetime,” Alyssa Farah Griffin said. “But one of my best friends, Cassidy Hutchinson, spent months in Atlanta protected by U.S. marshals to testify for this case and now it may all fall apart because these allegations of impropriety.”

“I’m very pissed off too because when you are a woman of color in such a high-profile position, you know that the scrutiny that’s going to befall you is greater than on anybody else and she needed to have kept her house clean,” Ana Navarro added.

“I will say they’re still allegations, but I feel that way,” Sunny Hostin agreed.

Willis hired three special prosecutors and claimed to have paid them all the “same hourly rate.” Out of the three, Wade is the sole black man and has earned $654,000 in legal fees by Fulton County since January 2022.
